It has just arrived and we already have to say goodbye. It seems the best always leave first. The latest update for Dragon Age: The Veilguard has arrived, and some analysts suggest it could be the game’s final update. This new version mainly focuses on bug fixes, addressing significant issues that have affected players’ experience. Among the bug fixes, a problem where the character Rook could only flirt with Lucanis in a specific conversation has been resolved, as well as a bug that caused Rook to get stuck in a drowning loop when he should be rescued by his allies. Additionally, level recommendations for side quests have been added, which will improve the game’s quality of life.
As it comes, it goes
The company has confirmed that The Veilguard will not receive any more expansions, and the developers are ready to embark on other projects, including the next installment of Mass Effect. This change of direction has not surprised the followers, as in November 2024 BioWare had already hinted at their intention to conclude the game’s support. The phrase used by BioWare, “Dareth shiral” (which means “goodbye”), has led many to interpret that the company is ready to leave this Dragon Age behind.
With these changes, the future of BioWare seems to be heading towards new and exciting opportunities, while fans of Dragon Age and Mass Effect eagerly await the company’s upcoming news.
