Recently, an error in Moon Knight’s Hand of Khonshu ability has made this character one of the most feared heroes in Marvel Rivals. Originally, this ability should deal 75 points of damage per hit, but according to recent reports, it is currently causing double, that is, 150 points of damage. This imbalance not only affects the game’s performance but is also making many matches nearly impossible to win when Moon Knight is on the opposing team.
Players Demand to Nerf the Hero
A Reddit user, known as Sidewaysgts, was the first to point out this anomaly, highlighting that a hero with 300 health points would be practically annihilated if caught in the skill’s area of effect, which underscores the brutality of Hand of Khonshu. Additionally, the Polygon reporter confirmed that the skill’s damage seems to be split into two instances of AOE (area of effect) damage, which intensifies its destructive capability. Depending on the player’s position, it is possible to receive additional damage from multiple hits, further complicating survival.
The gaming community has urged NetEase to address this issue as a priority to restore balance in the game. Despite adjustments made in the season 1 patch that increased the duration and damage radius of Hand of Khonshu, the original damage figure remains incorrect on the official website. This has raised doubts about whether this error is a simple oversight or if there is something else affecting the skill’s functionality.
The situation keeps players on edge, as they wish to enjoy a fairer and more balanced experience. With Moon Knight dominating the games, many are requesting an immediate fix to be able to play without the constant fear of being eliminated in one blow by this formidable hero.
