We have already crowned the first Miss AI and the matter is quite scary

The first Miss World contest in history was held in 1951 in the United Kingdom and consisted of a bikini competition, a garment that had just been introduced and was still seen as perverse at the time. And during the following decades, it became immensely popular until, nowadays, it has become more of an old and outdated curiosity than anything else. However, we did not count on the audacity of the -ai- artificial intelligence.

Now, an AI-created influencers contest has chosen the most beautiful among ten people who do not exist, but are created by Midjourney, Stable Diffusion or Dall-E 3. If they had shown us this ten years ago in a futuristic movie, we wouldn’t have believed it. The thing is that these ten candidates have gone through a casting of over 1500 computer-generated influencers, in an award created by the World AI Creators Awards.

Of course, influencers have defended different causes, from LGBT inclusion to cleaning the oceans or mental health, and they have shown their personality (that is, that of their creators) through different posts on Instagram. The winner of this charade has been the Moroccan Kenza Layli, who has 200,000 followers on Instagram and 45,000 on TikTok, and who believes that the prize will bring “diversity and inclusivity” to the world of AI creator. In other words, she will write, instead of “a white woman”, “a woman who is not white”. Laziness has also reached beauty.
