It is clear that Disney Plus is making up for the slump it has had lately with the series from Marvel Studios. While the fictions of the universe of the house of ideas are not at their best moment, the platform is compensating for it with projects like Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
The latest of these projects that has achieved great success is Shogun, a series that has been ranked as the best (so far) of 2024 and that many believe is the best series about samurais ever made. The trailer already makes it clear that it is a high-level fiction:
