Microsoft continues to work on creating new features for Windows 11, and one of the most recent ones would be to create a tool capable of solving sound problems that occur within the ecosystem when making video calls through applications like Zoom, Skype or Teams.

With this, the company aims to improve the service of its system, and offers a useful and effective method that will allow users in many cases to enjoy a much more satisfying experience when making video calls through any Windows application.

Solving audio problems

This tool, which is being tested in one of the Canary versions of Windows 11, is one of the features that the company has revealed in one of its latest posts. In fact, this tool, Voice Clarity, will be familiar to more than one user who has had a Surface device, as it is not the first time that Microsoft has used it, although this time, it will have various improvements.

The Voice Clarity function will be responsible for evaluating the sound quality to make various adjustments through its AI in order to improve communication during video calls. In this way, being especially important in a productivity ecosystem, many meetings and video calls will be able to easily solve any sound issues that may arise during the conference.

Windows 11 evolving

This 2024 will be a very important year for Windows 11 as an operating system, as it will be the year it undergoes a significant change. It is still to be discovered whether it will be Windows 12, or the growing leak of a major update, with Artificial Intelligence as the protagonist, but keeping the Windows 11 branding. And it is that, after being in operation since 2021, it is not succeeding as expected at first.

Although Windows 11 has been in the market for quite some time, it has not reached even half of the users that Windows 10 still retains as an Operating System. This is due to two factors: many devices cannot make the leap due to lack of requirements, which will leave them on the edge of planned obsolescence very soon, and others do not find the jump to Windows 11 attractive. That is why updates like the one currently being tested will try to function as an additional incentive to accelerate the trickle of Windows 10 users to Windows 11 and reverse it in less time.
