Yahoo!’s search pages are getting an updated look today. The aging search engine has a new, but subtle redesign. Yahoo! wanted to focus on bringing content higher up on the page so a few things have shifted around. The first thing you’ll notice is the new navigation bar up top. This contains shortcuts for other Yahoo! sites and services. Beyond the small visual changes, Yahoo! has increased the performance of load times so pages should load quicker.
While these changes are minor, it shows that Yahoo! is working to reinvent the company with a unified look and user experience. The redesigned Yahoo! search pages are consistent with the redesigned Yahoo! homepage. The company also promises more updates to Yahoo! products in the coming months.
