This is a free Chrome extension that helps you embed files from the GitHub repository directly onto a web page or any other HTML document.

In other words, you can create links to any file and share them with your friends or colleagues on any web page on your website.

For instance, if you want to add the latest version of the file you are working on to your web page, just click the "Gist It" button and select the file. In less than a second, you will have the file copied to the clipboard and you can then paste it anywhere you want.
