Comprehensive watermark tool to protect your photos
With so many photo-publishing avenues available on the Net, there's now more risk than ever of your images being plagiarized or used without your permission.
If you're a general user, this probably won't bother you much, but if you're a professional photographer, or if you use images for commercial use, then it's a real concern. Adding a watermark is a simple way to protect your images from illegal or unauthorized use. iWatermark is a very powerful and effective way to do it too - it has just about every conceivable control over how you wish to add your watermarks.
To get started, simply drag and drop an image into the 'Input' panel. Then click on the output panel to select where you'd like to save the new file. It would have been nicer if a preview of your image appeared in the input panel but instead it's replaced by a generic icon. However, after this you have maximum control over how your image is handled and processed including the editing of EXIF and metadata. Note that iWatermark leaves the original files untouched but creates new images complete with the watermark of your choice.
In this trial version, you're limited to eight different example watermarks but the important thing is processing takes a matter of seconds. You can rotate, resize and reposition watermarks to your heart's content making it a truly customizable and powerful watermarking application.
Overall there's little to fault with iWatermark. From Meta-data preservation to embedding IPTC information, iWatermark covers every possible watermarking need for the amateur photographer.

I love that when you mark your photo, it replaces the original (u can always revert back) so you dont spend extra time deleting duplicates. Also tons of both cutesy options as well as professional ones. More

starts great but doesn't last.
I purchased iWatermark and had been happily using for a number of weeks, but the happiness didn't last. First off, in no time I got an email from my internet provider to tell me I had already used 75% of my highspeed (I am on a fairly comprehensive package and only used a nominal amount each month) and now it just won't process any pictures. I am looking for some sort of support to find out what is wrong, but so far, have not found any. Rather annoyed as I did pay for the privilege and find myself frustrated and unable to do what I paid for! All I am looking for is a solution to watermarking my online photos. The watermark I am looking for is quite simple - text only, no graphics. It should be a simple process - select photos, press "start processing" and go - and that is how it was in the beginning. Now I can select the photos, but then I can only preview - the start processing no longer works. More
