Cons: Lite version offers only five minutes of recording. Randomly closes on you. Certain audio issues. Not a free tool.

Cons: Paid license required for 100% conversions. MAC OS only. A lot of audio formats not supported. Non-commercial use only with free version.

Pros: An excellent cross-platform application for personal computers. This software offers much of the same functionality as the official application.

Cons: It is not intended to be used with mobile phones. There are currently no keyboard shortcuts available with this application.

Pros: Only 11.5 megabytes of memory is needed. Individual tracks are color coded. Disk caching accommodates larger audio files. All data can be exported in numerous different formats.

Cons: More advanced editing features are not offered. Software crashes will delete any data. Hotkey commands are nos supported. The cursor can sometimes disappear during operation.
