Productivity (1075 programs)

Pros: Elegant interface. Edits in RTF format for flexibility. Lots of powerful features. Good with languages.

Cons: Takes a long time to load documents. Lacks some advanced features.

Pros: Completely free. Does what it says.

Cons: Seems to have some issues on 10.5. Won't start if you don't have a local drive connected.

Pros: Based on the same foundations as Firefox, etc.. New Mac OS X interface. Much improved mail features.

Cons: No way to import passwords and user names from previous versions. Not many people will need the whole suite. Some feel it has strayed from it's Netscape roots.

Pros: Very intuitive. Create your mini web. Sketch, note and link up.

Cons: Looks more complex than it actually is.

Pros: Decent alternative to MS Visio. Lots of templates. Imports Visio files. Sharing tools.

Cons: No autosave. Not as intutive as MS Visio or Omnigraffle.
