"It's easy to forget that Amazon even has competitors these days, but Barnes & Noble is still my go-to. I read a lot of novels, and love having bookshelves filled with books. B&N seems to send me coupons all the time, and if you're lucky enough to still have a physical B&N in your area, you can buy online and often go pick up the book to skip the wait on shipping. Great selection as well."

"Genghis: Lords of the Bow (The Conqueror Series) is a grand historical tale of conquest. Genghis unites the tribes to crush their enemies. The army lays siege to one empire after another until they come across the city of Yenking, which is modern day Beijing. Lots of action with well detailed battle scenes keeps this book fresh and interesting."

"A great book about Genghis Khan is The Tiger Queens: It is a historical fiction book written by Stephanie Thornton. It delves deep in the history of the dangerous Mongol Empire."

"This book is a really interesting book, but it's a historical fiction, so if you are looking for a true-life account of Genghis Khan, this may not be the book for you. It's still a great book, but not a biography or real account by any means."

"I love the history and stories of Genghis Khan, and The Blue Wolf did not disappoint! Instead of the usual story lines of Khan and his battles, this story is from the point of view of one of his closest friends. This gives a new light into the world of Genghis Khan and makes an effort to show him as more than a warlord. A great read, especially for fans of history."

"The novel begins when he is a child and follows his rise through the ranks by crafty politics, deal-making and fighting skill. The story captures the mood, the scenery, and gives a closeup of life as the author imagined it would be within Genghis Khans inner circle. Fiction but fascinating nonetheless."

"An excellent book about the early life of this 12th Century Asian leader. The author really digs into his rise to power and how he became the destructive leader he was. However, there is not much time spent on his later campaigns or his death. The author also does not discuss the effects Genghis Khan's actions had in Asia and how this affected future dynasties. You'll gain insights into his motivations by reading this book, and I think it's a good read for that reason. But you'll want to read other books to learn about his actions as a leader and the effects he had."

"I am not entirely certain this is a good choice for the search criteria. While the book is "about" Genghis Khan, it is a fiction instead of a nonfiction. If you are wanting a nonfictional look at Genghis Khan, this isn't the way to go."
