"Breakfast at Tiffany's is definitely not one of the best movie soundtracks. It is iconic and well known and popular during it's time. But like the movie itself, parts of it have aged well and some of it hasn't. It is more a nostalgic choice for a soundtrack than one of the best ever. Moon river is just one song on the soundtrack and isn't indicative of the greatness of the whole thing"

"A timeless classic, especially if you were around when the movie first came out! Being a vinyl lover, I really enjoy having this on a high fidelity format. Although the master doesn't seem optimized for playback, it still sounds really great! It can be hard to want to play though compared to more proper remasters."

      The Graduate

The Graduate was an iconic movie from the 60's that told the story of a young man seduced by an older woman during his years at college. The movie put Dustin Hoffman on the map and served as a big platform for the already famous duo Simon and Garfunkel. The most of the music was composed by them with a score by David Grushin, and songs like Sounds of Silence, and Mrs Robinson were major successes.

      Blade Runner Soundtrack

The soundtrack of Blade Runner is almost as amazing and marvelous as the movie. Vangelis, its composer, made a suite of electronic music that goes from dark and futuristic themes like the Main Title and the End Titles, to cozy and jazzy tunes resembling the music of the noir cinema like in Love Theme or Rachel Song. The perfect soundtrack for the movie.

"The Blade Runner soundtrack itself is probably one of the best and most groundbreaking soundtracks in semi-recent film history. It can legitimately stand on its own as a piece of music, devoid from the context of the movie itself. However, it's not clear that this is the best edition of it to buy. The bonus material becomes increasingly different from the source material, and thus starts to becoming a bit less interesting, and there might be some problems with the mixing and editing. Not sure what the definitive version of the OST is, though."

Singles - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Singles by Cameron Crowe was a movie about being single in a city like Seattle, a classic rom-com plot, but what made this city an icon of an era was that it took place in Seattle in the early 90's. In one line: the city that made Grunge. Its soundtrack, selected by its own director, Cameron Crowe a music journalist in the Rolling Stone magazine, included a selection of music anthems by the most iconic grunge bands of the era, like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam with songs like Breath and State of Love and Trust, never released on record, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Trees, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden and other classic musicians like Jimi Hendrix, born and raised in Seattle, and the ex-Replacements Paul Westerberg. The soundtrack of an era.

      Purple Rain

It wasn't the best of the musical movies made in the 80's but it gives one of the best records by Prince. The soundtrack to this personal autobiopic was one, if not the best, of the most popular and amazing records by the artist of Minneapolis. Funk, rock, psychedelia, and the ultimate rock ballad that gives names to both record and movie and songs like Let's Go Crazy, Computer Blue, When Doves Cry or I Would Die For U made Prince one of the biggest pop superstar of the 80s.

      Easy Rider

Easy Rider was the movie of the end of the summer of love. And of course, music was one of the main keys of this film about two people that want to travel in their motorbikes and enjoy life without any question. Here we can enjoy music from that era and from bands that defined music: The Band, Steppenwolf, The Byrds, Jimi Hendrix and Roger McGuinn.
