      Life on Mars?

Hunky Dory made Bowie a relevant star. The songs included on this album were classics like Changes, Oh, You Pretty Things! but the most remarkable is this tour de force in which Bowie sings like he has never sung before, reaching a high pitch and letting the piano by Rick Wakeman be the main instrument on the song. Life On Mars? tells the story of a young girl which parents are mean to her and goes to the movies to escape from reality, a classic teenage angst story expressed in a mini-opera of 4 minutes.

      Into The Great Wide Open

This was the third single from the album of the same name released by Tom Petty in 1991. The song is, again, the classic story of the smalltown kid that leaves the place he was born and raised to become a star in Hollywood music industry, but ends being eaten alive and dumped by the same industry that took profit of him. The video features a young Johnny Depp as the main character of the story.
