"I love to play the video games and this one is about war so there is much action to be had. The name of it is the Total War: Arena and it is soo good! You can even play it for free, online with other people that are also online. It is a war simulation game and boy is it a fun one, you should play too!"

"I had this game since it was released and I haven't even completed every mission. This is super difficult and that is one of its allure. I just don't understand why I always lose when I start winning. This game is frustrating in a good way as it forces you to think of other tactics and strategies, which is one of its aims anyways. You wouldn't have labeled a strategy game as anything else, right?"

"The graphics alone would have made this game at the top of every video game list you could put up. Truly it is a magnificent game. But what makes this a step ahead of its competitors is that you have to combine tactical abilities with lightning-fast reflexes. Certainly, one of the best games anyone can play on Mac or other platforms."

    DID YOU KNOW

Did you know that strategy video games are based on famous board games and tabletop wargames like Chess, Go, and checkers? Board games like Chess, Go, and checkers require players to plan moves ahead in order to defeat opponents, and Herbert George Wells' tabletop wargames (played with miniature soldiers on a table with a customized terrain), are the basis of the first strategy video games. Invasion, which was released in 1972 for Magnavox Odyssey, was based on the board game Risk, while Strategic Simulations' 1980 Computer Bismark, was the first game completely based on history. It was followed by games like the 1983 hit, Reach for the Stars, Nobunaga's Ambition, and the Lords of Midnight. In the 1990s, it was Sid Meier's Civilization that dominated the shelves, followed by Dune II, which was based on the movie adaptation of the novel of the same name, and then Ensemble Studios' Age of Empires. Now, the field of strategy video games have evolved, as fast-paced action, real-time strategy games like Dota 2 and League of Legends have become the norm, transforming the gaming industry into a multi-million dollar eSports business. But until today, war-based games and turn-based strategy games are still hit products, with games like Total War: Shogun 2 and Star Traders 4X Empire Elite.

"Honestly, I had problems when I first played this on my Mac. But after the update, everything ran smoothly. It has varying degrees of difficulties and you can ace the first parts easy. But when you start going up against the big guns, you will despair and probably chuck this game outta your window. That said, the difficulty of this game is insane and you'll need all your brain power to win!"

It features famine, war, survival, and tactics that truly makes one think about the "how am I going to survive this?!" kind of approach. It makes the player feel truly immersed in the game giving both time and devotion to it is rewarding and challenging. For players looking for a survivalist theme that has a historical approach this is the game for you. For those looking for strategy and a rewarding player experience, again, this game is for you. Those looking to breeze through an not give attention to detail, this isn't a game for you. It's for the intellectual and hardcore gamer who loves to think about how they are going to win."

There are different types of ships which have different behaviors, battleships are strong, carriers have aircraft, destroyers have torpedoes, and cruisers have a fast firing rate. You get to choose a flag from naval powers such as USA, and Japan. Weather can change in battle, and cause an influence on battle. I have a fun time playing with friends, games are replayable, there is some repetitiveness, but due to it being multiplayer, it is really fun and exciting."

"Once you got over the fact that you paid to get this game and all the technical issues, you'll realize that this game is actually pretty good. NOT!!!! You will never get over those since it stares up at you everytime you log on. What's worse is anyone could beat this game if the AI plays fair! Where's the challenge in that???"

"Battle Worlds: Kronos is a strategy game that can be played on Mac. I'm not really into strategy games, but decided to give this a try. I didn't really enjoy it because the interface/maps isn't set up correctly. I wish I could return this game because it really failed."

"If you need a decent strategy game for the Mac, Battle World: Kronos is an RTS that's both challenging and fun. You can plan out battles, use equipment and terrain to win wars and enjoy the graphics and gameplay the whole time."

"Definitely skip past this turd of a game. The controls are clunky and the implementation of features is terribly designed. My four year old can design a better game than this. Look elsewhere."

"Rated this 2 stars because I can't control the game the way I want to. It's like the interface is lagging and I have failed a number of times because of this. The worst part is that it takes too long for the support to fix issues. Thumbs down for this!"

"Conquest of Elysium 3 is no where near the best strategy games for Mac. The controls are clunky and the game is riddled with bugs. The worst part is that it cost $10!"

"I was looking for a good strategy game for the Mac. I found out about Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville. This game really is not what I was looking for. I like the concept of rebuilding a ruined city in a post-apocalyptic world, but the gameplay is just so boring. The graphics aren't that great, either. I don't know why my friends like this game or why they recommended it. It also doesn't work properly on my computer. It glitches out or crashes half the time. I really hate it. Don't play this game; it's not worth the trouble."

"This is a good game don't get me wrong. I rated this one star for several reasons. First, it is too difficult to play for beginners. And even when you are an intermediate player (as some of my friends can attest), the gameplay is too quick for them. If you don't have a good connection, you're as good as dead. I actually like watching pros play. But I could never, ever, do what they do. And that's why I hate it."

"I usually enjoy Mac strategy games but this one was just not up to snuff. The pacing is too fast and the universe is too confusing to navigate. Some of the battles are decent enough but it really grew tiresome quite quickly. I would avoid this game and look for something better."
