"It's easy to forget that Amazon even has competitors these days, but Barnes & Noble is still my go-to. I read a lot of novels, and love having bookshelves filled with books. B&N seems to send me coupons all the time, and if you're lucky enough to still have a physical B&N in your area, you can buy online and often go pick up the book to skip the wait on shipping. Great selection as well."

As a result, I have searched long and hard for the best book that are based on true original stories. The best one I have found so far is The Apple tree Wish: Made by a Fatherless Girl which is an amazing book."

"True story books are rarely based on true stories these days. Yankee, Go Home seems to be the exception to that rule. I was personally shocked at Sharon's story with one of the oldest terrorists groups in America, the Ku Klux Klan, while living in the south. It was realistic enough, and shone a light on a part of history that should be revealed and not covered up."

Could be a difficult read for some, but the story is really great and it's a wonderful insight into that Post World War time."

If you are one of those unfortunate people who has never heard of Animal Farm, then you need to stop everything right now and get it. Once it arrives at your doorstep, don't do anything but read it. It is an excellent book and highly recommended. The one thing most revealing in the book is how much it relates to our lives today. Don't miss this one. It is a very important read."

"Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl is one of the best non-fiction books I have come across. I read this a few years ago when I was looking for a true, historically accurate story that was also very emotionally poignant. The Diary gives a good picture of what life was like for Anne, and the trials she went through. Very few books better illustrate the fear one must've felt while hiding from the Nazis during WWII."

If you were there on the bus during the Summer of Love and the decade that followed you will enjoy this read. Be for warned. Rhoney tells it like it is and was; good trips and bad vibes. Believable and shocking both. I know of what she tells is true. But then...what a long, strange trip it' s been."
