I have been getting better grades since I started using this. One of my classmates had the same thing happen.
TED is a non-profit organization that focuses on spreading ideas and knowledge typically through short powerful talks from various experts of a given topic or theme. You can catch these talk on their website online or through their mobile apps.

I have viewed TED talks for nearly a decade and can attest to their excellence. Listening to people who are passionate about sharing something helps the viewer retain that knowledge and many of them are entertaining, even if the topic is complex.

This is an amazing reference app. Its like having a real-time updated encyclopedia and fully functioning calculator in my phone. Really helps with solving tough equations, while still helping learn how to do it for myself.

BrainPOP Featured Movie is an app helps kids know and learn their world. Through educational videos, the app teaches a lot of topics such as Arts, Science, English, Social Studies. Also, there are quizzes to see what the kid has learned.
