This app is an amazing interval training timer: select how many seconds will every workout take, and a sound will be displayed when you reach that time. The app is available for iWatch so you can use it everywhere.
This is a really solid timer app. I take it with me to the gym and it's really helped me focus and hone my workout routine. I haven't found a better one. More

A good hiit timer app. If you know what you want to do you can input it and run the routine. It provides a big clock so that you can put your phone on the ground and still see how long time is left. But the app isn't free. In the free version can't use the pre defined routines. Any routine you create you can only use once, then it becomes locked. You need to pay $6.99 in order to repeat your routine or to use all the features in the app. More

Sworkit is a good workout app, but isn't the best app if you just need a timer. I enjoy the features, and it has helped me with my workouts. When I just need a simple timer app, I use a different program. The app itself is well designed, but not really made specifically as a timer app. More

The most annoying that that happens in interval training is dealing with timers that cause the workout to come to a halt. Most phone apps simply aren't designed for HIIT, but Tabata Stopwatch Pro for the iPhone is designed specifically for those of us who get the most benefit from HIIT workouts. I recommend downloading it and adjusting the timing settings to your own needs to provide the best possible workout! More
