In a significant development for electric scooter enthusiasts, Canadian company Apollo has launched its flagship scooter, the Phantom 2.0, which has begun shipping in North America.
This new model is making waves by pushing the boundaries of electric scooter performance, with the highest version reaching speeds of up to 53 mph (85 km/h).
The Phantom 2.0 comes in two variants: the 52V and the higher performance Stellar 60V. The 52V model, equipped with dual 1,750W motors, achieves a top speed of 44 mph (70 km/h) and features a 27 Ah (1.4 kWh) battery, offering a maximum range of 50 miles (80 km).
The Apollo Phantom 2.0 52V is priced at $2,399
In contrast, the Stellar 60V boasts dual 3,350W motors, a 30 Ah (1.8 kWh) battery, and an impressive range of 56 miles (90 km).
Apollo has meticulously engineered the Phantom 2.0, diverging from the conventional, off-the-shelf designs prevalent in the market. Both models are outfitted with puncture-resistant 11×4-inch tubeless tires for increased durability, ensuring riders can enjoy their journeys without the worry of flat tires.
The 52V variant features dual spring suspension, while the premium 60V model is equipped with a robust DNM dual hydraulic suspension system.
Safety and connectivity are prominent in the Phantom 2.0’s design, with the 52V model featuring dual mechanical disc brakes and the 60V model utilizing dual hydraulic disc brakes.
Both models are UL2271 and UL2272 certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Connectivity options include NFC compatibility and integration with the Apollo app for enhanced tracking and customization.
The Apollo Phantom 2.0 52V is priced at $2,399, currently on promotion, while the Stellar 60V is available for $3,499. Deliveries for the 52V model commence this month, with the Stellar 60V set to ship later this summer. High-performance scooter enthusiasts have eagerly awaited this launch, which is poised to elevate Apollo’s status in the premium electric scooter market.
