Apple fans, beware that the next iPhone 15 may bring us more surprises than we thought. According to Bloomberg, the company could be developing even more expensive models than the high-end versions that have been made to date.
Apple CEO Tim Cook told a meeting with investors that Apple consumers are willing to pay more for the best Apple device they can get, hinting at the possibility of at least one more model arriving in the future with a higher price and more features.

At the meeting with investors, Apple’s CEO was asked about whether the increase in the average selling price of the iPhone would remain sustainable going forward. Cook’s response was that the price increase would be no problem, and that consumers could probably be persuaded to spend more money.
“I think people are willing to stretch to get the best they can afford in that category,” Cook said at the meeting. He also took the opportunity to point out that the iPhone has become “an integral part” of many people’s lives, with consumers now using the device to make payments, control smart home appliances, monitor their health and store banking data.

Apple’s plan to create a new model even more expensive than its current Pro and Pro Max would not catch anyone off guard. Along the same lines, the company plans to further differentiate the performance of its Pro and Pro Max models, giving the latter (which could be renamed “Ultra”), a periscopic lens that would provide a much better optical zoom, for example.
Whether or not it is finally true, there are many changes for the next generation iPhone. In addition to changes in design and internal components, the future iPhone 15 will be the company’s first cell phone to include a USB-C, instead of the classic Lightning, in order to comply with European competition laws.
