Apple TV+ renews its best comedy for a second season

Apple TV+ continues to expand its catalog of productions with standout series and movies. An example of this success is the renewal of Bad Monkey, its highest-rated comedy of the year, for a second season. Bill Lawrence, who is also behind other major hits like Ted Lasso, made his passion for Hiaasen’s material clear by stating: “Carl Hiaasen is a true idol for me, and being able to continue telling his story with Vince Vaughn and the incredible cast we have is a dream come true.”

Although there is no official date confirmed, everything points to Bad Monkey possibly returning to Apple’s streaming service in August 2025. We are talking about an interval of one year between seasons, something that always allows for careful development and respects the narrative quality that Apple TV+ has demonstrated.
