Video games are an excellent way to disconnect from problems and enter a new life. Thanks to them, we can become everything we dream of and live experiences that would otherwise be difficult to experience. Whether on PC, console or mobile devices, video games are a window into a world where we are the heroes… So… Why not bring them to your wallpaper?

At Softonic we know how much you love video games and we share that feeling of happiness every time you try a new one. That’s why in today’s article we’re going to offer you a selection of the best video game wallpapers. Each wallpaper comes with its 4K, HD and, of course, its mobile version. You can also download the game by clicking on its name. Here we go!

How to change your wallpaper

We begin our article with a brief review of how to change the wallpaper on your PC or mobile. Although the process is simple, it is often forgotten if you are not used to updating your desktop wallpaper on a regular basis or if you have simply changed devices.

On your PC:

Changing your PC’s wallpaper is easy. To do this, right-click anywhere on your desktop and select the “Personalise” option. If you prefer, you can also access it from the Windows settings (Windows key + I) and select the “Personalisation” option.

Once in the new window, click on the “Browse” button that you will find just below “Choose an image“. After that, the Windows explorer will open so that you can look for the image that you are going to use as wallpaper. Just go to the folder where you have saved all the images, choose your favourite one… And that’s it! That’s how easy it is to change your wallpaper whenever you want.

On your mobile:

To change the wallpaper on your smartphone, first of all you need to download the image to your device. After that, go to the settings of your mobile phone and click on the option “Display” followed by “Wallpaper“. These names may change a little depending on the brand of your phone. For example, if your phone is Samsung, you will need to click on “Wallpaper and themes” or “Wallpaper and style“.

Once you have done this, select the “Photos” option and choose the image you want to have as your wallpaper from the gallery. Once you have done this, click on “Set Background” followed by “Home Screen”. If you are a Samsung user, you will arrive at the Galaxy Themes menu where you must click on the “Gallery” button followed by the image you want as background. After that a menu will appear where you should select the “Home Screen” option.
