Baldur’s Gate 3 is behind the one-year ban that an Xbox user has suffered
Be very careful with the clips you make on Xbox.

Xbox users probably know that the platform is a bit strict when it comes to what can and cannot be done online, as it has recently implemented a three strikes system similar to YouTube. The problem is that this new system is… too picky.
This weekend, a player of Baldur’s Gate 3 nicknamed Daddy-Vegas shared a warning on the game’s subreddit to his Xbox companions not to record clips of the game’s most “intimate” scenes.
In the Reddit post, the user explains that they recorded a “fun time in a naked camp”, where they showed all their companions in the buff to show their brother the “sausage physics” of the game (yes, referring to how penises move) and have a laugh.
Unfortunately, these videos were automatically uploaded to Xbox servers, something the system does to help users easily share clipped content. After this, Xbox moderators were not pleased with these clips and have suspended Daddy-Vegas’ account for one year, considering each clip a separate violation and giving him all 3 strikes at once.
Now that Daddy-Vegas has been banned, he can no longer access games and services that require an internet connection, such as the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The user has not shared the clips in question, but has shared an image of the strikes, all of them one minute apart.
As it is obvious, Daddy-Vegas appealed the decision in an attempt to undo the ban or soften it, but it seems that Microsoft remains firm on this front. One day later, the user came back with an update in which he claimed that Microsoft had informed him that “they considered the enforcement of the regulations justified” and that he would have to accept the ban.
In this situation, the players of Baldur’s Gate 3 who commented on the post couldn’t believe it, showing their confusion about why Xbox would prohibit someone from uploading videos of game content, even if they were a bit explicit. You know, if you want to avoid similar problems with your Xbox account, disable automatic uploading of multimedia content as soon as possible.
