We could make a pool to see when Cecilio G will return to jail, and surely we would all be surprised. The Catalan rapero who was already in prison in 2018 for an incident in the subway in 2015 -he had a record for robbery with force in 2013-. And, since then, he has not stopped messing it up.
Just a year ago the singer assaulted several security guards at the Sonar Festival to which he was invited, and a couple of weeks ago a video of him in Lloret de Mar went viral rebuking Vox candidates for the municipal elections. Now, he has made a big mess again, although this time outside his home: specifically, in Seville.
A new arrest of Cecilio G
As we can see in a Twitter video that has gone viral, the ragman has been arrested in the capital of Andalusia after assaulting an off-duty officer. The reason? The man called his attention to him for graffiti in public. The singer not only didn’t stop the activity, but also pounced on the policeman.
It all happened last Sunday night, on Miraflores Avenue in Seville. Cecilio G was painting graffiti on the wall of a building when a national policeman who was walking by the place called his attention. The policeman was off duty and was walking with his wife peacefully. When he saw Cecilio G, he told him to stop. The singer refused and became aggressive, at which point the policeman took out his badge and identified himself.
According to press reports, Cecilio G wanted to leave the place with an aggressive attitude, but the off-duty policeman blocked his way and asked him to wait for his colleagues, whom he had warned. At that point, Cecilio G grabbed his shirt and almost tore it. He also yelled at him, according to the court report: “Who the fuck are you? You’re a shit! Get out of the way!”.
Finally, Cecilio G began to punch the officer several times, which hit him in the face. However, the policeman managed to knock him down, causing a wound on his forehead after the blow. Things escalated with several struggles on the part of the ragman, and he even bit the policeman on the arm. But finally the National Police arrived and, after the preventive search in which they took away five cans of paint, he was taken to the police station.
This last intervention could be key to a later trial of the rapper. There are already many problems he has had with justice and each time it goes to more, which undoubtedly leaves him as a dangerous subject who could soon run out the party.
