Diablo III: Reaper of Souls gets March 25th release date

Mark your calendars, folks; Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will be released March 25th, 2014. Blizzard first gave us a look at the new game during BlizzCon 2013 back in November and now we have a solid release date.

The expansion to Diablo III will feature a new Adventure Mode where players can complete quests for XP and gold. Also new are the Naphalem Rifts, which teleport players to challenge rooms where they’ll have to take on bosses called “Rift Guardians.” Reaper of Souls will also get a new player class called “The Crusader,” a heavy weapons class with tons of armor.

The Treasure Golbin Pet for World of Warcraft will be included in the deluxe version of Reaper of Souls

The game will retail for $39.99 for the standard version or $59.99 for the deluxe version with more in-game content like the Spectral Hound and Treasure Goblin Pet. Diablo III, Reaper of Souls will be released for Mac and PC and you can find the system requirements for each platform here. Now’s a good time to prepare your system before the game comes out.
