The prominent electric bicycle brand Velotric has officially launched its latest model, the Velotric Breeze, designed as a hybrid between a commuter bike and a leisure cruiser.
Aimed at riders who prefer a relaxed but speedy experience, the Breeze challenges traditional cruiser norms with impressive performance features.
The first thing that stands out about the Breeze is its accessible step-through frame, available in two sizes to accommodate a wider range of riders from 4’11” to 6’4″ (150-193 cm).
Priced at $1,799, the Velotric Breeze is available for order directly from the company’s website
The bike retains the pedal-forward geometry and curved handlebars characteristic of cruiser designs, offering an upright and comfortable riding position. Users seeking enhanced performance can unlock higher speeds, with a motor capable of reaching up to 28 mph (45 km/h) in unlocked mode, while having a default limit set at 20 mph (32 km/h).
Powering the Breeze is a robust 48V 13.4Ah battery that delivers a total capacity of 643Wh, equating to a maximum range of 75 miles (120 km) in the lowest power setting.
Riders can select from 15 different levels of pedal assist, tailored to their preferences through either torque or cadence sensors. This customization allows for riding styles ranging from a natural, power-delivering experience to a more leisurely, throttle-like ride.
Not only is the Velotric Breeze practical, but it is also built to withstand the elements; the battery boasts an IPX7 rating—making it waterproof up to three feet—while the bike itself has an IPX6 rating, allowing for hassle-free pressure washing.
Additional features include Apple FindMy tracking, hydraulic disc brakes, bright LED lights including turn signals, and lightweight urban tires, all designed for smooth riding on well-maintained paths.
Priced at $1,799, the Velotric Breeze is available for order directly from the company’s website. With five color options and a variety of advanced features, it represents a compelling option for both casual and performance-oriented riders in the e-bike market.
