Facebook Comments are getting a Troubling Update

Another excellent idea has been hatched in Facebook HQ. Oh no wait, it is difficult to pick up on sarcasm in text format so I’m just going to take the sledgehammer route. Facebook have had another terrible idea that is likely to make Facebook user’s lives a little more sickly.

Having seemingly forgotten that user comments are not skittles, Facebook have decided that having a choice of color for each and every insignificant and often vitriolic comment people decide to post on Facebook is a choice that the modern social networker can’t go without.

For now, only a small number of users have reported being able to use the new color comment tool but if this goes mainstream it is going to look a mess. This limited roll out is exactly the same way they introduced the colored status updates that we all have come to know and “love.”
