Facebook rolls out redesigned Timeline

The new Facebook Timeline, originally released to New Zealand users in January, is now being made available to users around the world.
The new design, which simplifies the Timeline into two main columns, makes your profile page into a much more complete view of your activity on Facebook and other websites. The main column now displays your updates and life events, while the left column includes your personal info and pulls in content from Instagram, Good Reads, Spotify and other social apps linked to Facebook.
At the same time the About page has been updated, and now displays all the public data Facebook has on you. Again, this includes your social data from apps and likes, as well as friends, family and photos. Here’s my Books section:
All in all, the new Facebook Timeline design is an improvement, as it aims to make your most relevant interactions and liked content, more visible on your personal Facebook profile page. Here’s the Music section:

As yet, there’s no official announcement from Facebook. We’re trying to contact them for a comment about how fast this new design will roll out to users around the world. Stay tuned.
