We already knew that Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster would arrive on consoles thanks to the physical versions and with a very short print run. However, we now know that they will also do so digitally this coming April 19 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Square Enix has announced that the compilation of the first six Final Fantasy games will come not only with all the new features of the PC version, but will also include other new additions to further enhance the gaming experience.

Now we will be able to switch between the original soundtrack or the reversioned one. In addition, here comes one of the great inclusions: we will be able to choose the font of the game, that is, either the default or the pixel style. All this is complemented by additional gameplay measures, such as the option to disable random encounters, adjust the experience gained, pause and exit the game and much more.

All these games will be available for purchase either individually or through the bundle where they all come together. Also, players who purchase any of the titles before May 25 on Switch will get free wallpapers. If you buy the bundle, you will receive 12 in total, that is, the entire collection. In the case of PS4, players will receive a theme and avatar inspired by each game; and if you get all six, you will get all six themes and six avatars.
