We have been covering the Kings League since before the championship started in January 2023. We’ve covered every matchday, followed the evolution and even commented on the details at sponsor level. So we’re really looking forward to this weekend’s grand finale at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The finals to be played on the field of FC Barcelona are spread over three days very delimited at the level of schedules, with today Friday March 24 as the first of them. To be exact, today the quarterfinals will be played at the Cupra Arena with the following pairings:

  • 16:30 hours: Start stream
  • 17:00 hours: Saiyans FC vs Kunisports
  • 18:30 hours: Los Troncos FC vs Xbuyer Team
  • 20:00 hours: Porcinos FC vs Aniquiladores FC
  • 21:30 hours: Ultimate Móstoles vs El Barrio

The day of Saturday, March 25, on the other hand, will be for the delight of the fans. There will be no matches, but to warm up the atmosphere for the two semifinals on Sunday and the expected grand final.

  • 11:30 hours: CE Joan Gamper training session.
  • 17:30 hours: Merchandising signing
  • 18:30 hours: Camp Nou Tour
  • 19:30 hours: Press conference

And finally, the main course. On Sunday, March 26, we will have the two semifinals and the final. All this will be with a Camp Nou literally full, as there are hardly any tickets left to sell online (they must reserve a quota for sale at the box office).

  • 14:15 hours: Arrival of the bus with the players at Spotify Camp Nou.
  • 14:30 hours: Opening of the stadium gates
  • 16:00 hours: Start of the Final Four
  • 17:30 hours: First semifinal
  • 19:00 hours: Second semi-final
  • 21:00 hours: Final of the Final Four of the Kings League 2023

Who is the favorite?

When everything is played in a single match, it is much more difficult to determine who is the favorite. After all, you don’t have the continuity of the league or a double-header, but everything is resolved in a single match. However, we can extrapolate some conclusions.

The best team of the championship has been DjMario’s Ultimate Mostoles. It has achieved 8 victories and only 3 defeats. Of course, all victories have been very tight on the scoreboard, good proof of the existing rivalry. In front of them will be the people of El Barrio, who entered the PlayOff in the last round (and by a fluke).

From here, there are four teams tied at 7 wins: Porcinos FC, Los Troncos FC, Saiyans FC and Kunisports. Of all these, Los Troncos are going from strength to strength, while teams like Saiyans, Porcinos and Kunisports have relaxed in the last few rounds as they are almost through. However, if the team of TheGrefg or Ibai Llanos have their day, the chances of advancing to Sunday are higher.

On this last point, it is worth noting that there are two really close games. The first one is Saiyans FC vs Kunisports. We were saying that if Saiyans has its momentum, going through is more likely. However, they will have one of the toughest teams in the championship in front of them. The other, on the other hand, is Los Troncos FC vs Xbuyer Team, a match where anyone can win (it sounds like a cliché -and it is-, but it is the reality).

It’s a good weekend to grab some popcorn and enjoy the games. To those lucky enough to go to Camp Nou on Sunday, have a great time, as it will be a unique experience.
