Warhorse Studios has confirmed that the highly anticipated Hardcore Mode for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released in a matter of days, responding to one of the most awaited requests from the gaming community following its launch on February 4th. This mode aims to increase the difficulty of the RPG experience without compromising player immersion, a goal that has been very well received by fans of the title.
Expansions in sight
According to the recent post by Warhorse Studios on X, the Hardcore Mode will implement various features to raise the challenge of the game. Some of the changes include the hiding of certain interface elements, the prohibition of fast travel, and the requirement to select three negative traits when starting the adventure. These adjustments are designed to encourage a more realistic and tactical approach, in line with the immersion philosophy that characterizes the saga.
Although a specific release date has not been set, it has been promised that this option will be available to all players next week. Warhorse Studios is in active communication with its fan base, ensuring that the final details about the Hardcore Mode features will be revealed once it is implemented in the game.
In addition to the new game mode, Warhorse Studios continues to work on three promised expansions: Death Made a Brush, Legacy of the Forge, and Mysteria Ecclesiae. The company has also indicated that they are preparing to develop multiple projects simultaneously, although details about this have not yet been shared.
With these announcements, the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 community has reasons to celebrate, while they prepare to embark on a more challenging and content-rich RPG experience in the near future.
