Google Translate continues to improve every day. In addition to the best translations offered by the classic system, thanks to more accurate functioning and the work of the Google team itself, now there are 110 new languages recently added.
To achieve this impressive leap in language capacity, the company is using artificial intelligence. With the help of the PaLM 2 language model, closely related languages like Seychellois Creole and Mauritian Creole have undergone a better and faster learning process.
In 2022, Google Translate added 24 new languages using Zero-Shot Machine Translation, where relevant translations were created through a learning model.
