Hellblade 2 has finally been revealed, after a long time without any updates. Senua‘s adventure has taken the stage to show us another impressive trailer, but the most important news is not just that, but also the release year: 2024.

Melina Juergens, the actress who lends both her face and voice to the protagonist, was responsible for presenting the trailer to the viewers. Although no gameplay was shown, the actress emphasized that everything seen on screen was in-game, meaning it was captured using the game’s engine on an Xbox Series X (literally). In this specific case, we know that it is powered by Unreal Engine 5, owned by Epic, and they are striving to make the most of its capabilities.

We know very little about Hellblade 2 to date. The secrecy surrounding the production is extremely high. In fact, thanks to the actress herself, we have been given a little more insight. She mentioned that they are re-shooting some scenes they were not satisfied with, although the game has already been fully recorded some time ago. This is great news for the upcoming release, although it should still be approached with caution.

While a definitive date is yet to be announced, Ninja Theory‘s production will be available next year on Xbox Series X | S and PC. Of course, it will be available for download from day one for all subscribers of the Xbox Game Pass service. Its first installment is also available on the platform. If you haven’t played it, we highly recommend that you do so. It’s an amazing game.
