There are barely two weeks left for players around the world to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy, the long-awaited video game based on the world of Harry Potter that comes to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch (on the latter platform, in summer).

On the occasion of this close launch, the company has shown a new film trailer for the game. In this one an owl can be seen carrying a letter all over Hogwarts and surroundings. In the end, the bird ends up leaving the letter to the aspiring magician, a clear reference to what we are going to be in the game.

In Hogwarts Legacy we will be lucky enough to explore an open world where there is not only the school, but also locations as famous as Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest and many more places in this universe. To do this, we will have to create a wizard… with all that this entails: learning spells, brewing potions, growing plants, caring for fantastic animals, etc. The game mixes the best of action with the touch of crafting, hence there is not only exploration in an adventure set in the late nineteenth century, but also a touch of management to make our journey in Hogwarts the best possible (and fun).

Duration is the key

Curiously, thanks to the leak of the official art book we have known how long Hogwarts Legacy will last. If you are looking to complete the main story, it lasts approximately 35 hours. However, if you want to get 100% of the adventure, it can be doubled, up to approximately 70 hours of play.

Needless to say, we will be able to continue exploring and managing all our resources, but that is the time stipulated by the studio to be able to complete Hogwarts Legacy in its entirety.
