How to get Rust skins
There are three different ways that you can earn Rust skins. Some of them require payment while the others need you to perform a specific action. Let’s look at each one individually.
Step 1: Play the game
You can get Rust skins by merely playing the game. There are events that reward you with several new items to plaque your weapons with. Furthermore, you can buy skin packs that will enhance the visual appearance of your goods. Ensure that you don’t miss any opportunities.

Step 2: Twitch drops
Some Twitch streamers give away skins as rewards for watching their live shows. You’ll need to follow this process in order to receive it on your Steam account:
- Log in with your Twitch details;
- Log in with your Steam account;
- Head into your Steam settings and activate Twitch drops;
- Watch a live Twitch stream that offers drops;
- Receive the items in your Steam account;
- Confirm acceptance and play Rust.

Step 3: Earn Rust Skin rewards
If you scour the internet, you may find websites that offer Rust skins as gifts for performing a specific action. For instance, you might receive one if you complete a survey or download an application. Be careful with these sites, though, as some of them may be scams designed to steal your information.

Put on some new skin
Rust skins change the way items look in the game, and some of them are pretty spectacular. Do yourself a favor and grab some new skins if you get a chance. If you’d like to showcase them to us, feel free to tag us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
