Google Gemini is the artificial intelligence developed by Google. It’s an AI that we can already use on our iPhone thanks to the Google app, and which we can use to perform searches, get answers to questions, and enjoy all that Gemini has to offer us. Let’s see how it works.
Steps to access Google Gemini
While using iOS 18, Apple will integrate ChatGPT and probably also Google Gemini. Using the latter is as easy as following these steps:
- Open the App Store, search for “Google” and download the app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Open the application and log in with your Google account. You can use a personal account or a Workspace account.
- If Gemini is available for your account, a button will appear at the top beside the search button. A single tap will take you to Google’s AI.
- Finally, simply type the question, verbalize it, or select a photo; then tap the send button to receive the corresponding answer.
Keep in mind that the Gemini tab may be hidden. If you don’t see it, what you can do is tap on your profile picture, then go to the Settings section, enter the General section, and finally tap on the Show Gemini option. If this option doesn’t appear, it means that Google’s AI is not available for the account you used to log in.
Using Google AI on your iPhone or iPad is as easy as that. In tandem with the use of ChatGPT through its dedicated app, we’re now able to try two of the most important AIs currently available on the market.
