In the world of keyboards, Logitech has been one of the most reliable and popular brands for years, and their new KEYS-TO-GO 2 for iPad is an excellent proof of why. A keyboard that stands out for its lightness, portability, and versatility. A keyboard for when we want to type comfortably anywhere and on any device. Design: The Magic of Functional Minimalism

The first thing that catches the eye about the new KEYS-TO-GO 2 is its ultra-thin and lightweight design. The measurements—4 x 8″ wide—is simply impressive. It is keyboard designed for mobility, and the surprise is its weight. It’s inevitable to pick it up without being surprised. Its weight of 8 ounces is distributed so that it feels like you’re only holding its cover.

The cover is built-in, and protects the keys from dust and other damage when not in use. These details make this a perfect keyboard that can accompany us wherever we go.

On the outside, the case’s finish has a soft texture that prevents slipping while still offering sufficient protection. An added bonus is that it doesn’t pick up dirt that can accumulate in a backpack or bag! To use the keyboard, simply open the case and fold it behind the keyboard itself. This keyboard is also available in several colors: Graphite, Pale Gray, and Lilac, and it’s worth noting that Logitech has used recycled plastics in its construction.

The Writing Experience: Compact, but comfortable in any scenario

Despite its compact size, the KEYS-TO-GO 2 offers us maximum comfort when typing. The keys are 1 mm deep, which translates to very, very comfortable, and especially quiet, typing.

The keys are well spaced to avoid typographical errors, and although it does not offer backlighting, the keyboard has a full row of function keys, which include shortcuts to adjust the volume, screen brightness, control playback, and access other essential functions.

Connectivity: A Keyboard for Typing on Any Device

One of the strengths of the KEYS-TO-GO 2 is its ability to connect with up to three devices simultaneously via Bluetooth Low Energy. This allows us to easily switch between an iPad, an iPhone, an Android, a Mac, or a PC with just the press of a button.

It may seem like a minor detail, but knowing that we don’t have to repeat the pairing process every time we switch devices is something to consider. If, on the other hand, we regularly work with multiple devices simultaneously, this simple feature completely changes our workflow.

Battery: Extremely long life and no chargers

One of the most impressive features of the KEYS-TO-GO 2 is its autonomy. With a battery life of up to three years, based on two hours of continuous use per day, the keyboard is designed to minimize the need to worry about its charge.

And this is not the best part, as it works with replaceable button batteries, which eliminates the worry of having to charge it frequently, adding a cable for it to our keyboard, or, in general, keeping an eye on its charge level. Without a battery that can discharge or even degrade over time, and with the universality of button batteries, charging this keyboard is something that completely disappears.

In fact, Logitech has placed a notable emphasis on sustainability with the KEYS-TO-GO 2. Recycled plastics have been used in its manufacturing, the aluminum used in its internal structure is made with renewable energy, and the choice of power source, a button cell instead of a battery that degrades over time, supports a product with the utmost respect for the environment.
