It was known that we were going to have a trailer for Mafia: The Old Country during tonight at The Game Awards. It was one of the big surprises of the gala, but it has already been revealed… and in the most absurd way!

Throughout the day today, numerous players have been able to see the trailer for Mafia: The Old Country in advertisements. Broadcasted in the ads that appear before YouTube videos, users were quick to capture what was shown, and even record the video. After all, it is material that was going to be shown early this morning during the event.
Beyond this error, the trailer has also helped us find out the release date of Mafia: The Old Country. It will be released during the summer of 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
Developed by Hangar 13, in this adventure we go back to the early 20th century in Sicily. The idea is to explore the origins of the Mafia and its subsequent expansion not only throughout the country, but also how it made the leap to the United States and other parts of the world.
Mafia: The Old Country is not a new game. The development studio confirmed years ago that they were working on a new installment, although they never clarified which one it was. It wasn’t until this summer when the development of this installment was confirmed.
