Goedenmiddag!! Yes, we’re learning Dutch as we prepare to race around the new Amsterdam track on Mario Kart Tour. The latest Amsterdam Drift presents pleasant scenery from the city, as well as a new vehicle to claim your next win. There’s even a new character!

The Amsterdam Tour is now available on smartphones, which means you can celebrate King’s Day with a race on April 27th. There’s a new Flower Kart with pink rims and purple wheels, while you can find flowers and other pastel decorations on the vehicle. The seat is adorned with massive petals, which looks completely comfortable to race in on your phone.

Rosalina is the race character on Mario Kart Tour that loves the Amsterdam track. She presents a beautiful Dutch smile with a white bonnet and a delightful dress that fits neatly into the vehicle. Of course, the character comes with several lines of comments as you beat your opponents on the track. What we love is that the Flower Kart is specifically designed for her.

While the main focus is on Amsterdam, there are iconic landmarks from other cities. For example, the windmills are from Zaandam, a popular location on the outskirts of the famous Dutch city. Rosalina also looks quite comfortable on the tractors we’ve seen in the game, and she won’t mind using those big wheels to shove players aside.

If you’ve raced the Rosalina Cup, you’ll notice that the Amsterdam Tour has been added to the list of locations. It starts with Amsterdam Drift, then moves to Rosalina’s Ice World R/T and Amsterdam Drift R/T before ending with the Ring Race. So it’s not just a new addition to Mario Kart Tour, but is incredibly integrated with the rest of the game elements.
