And it’s over. After several weeks of entertainment, the Grand Final of Minecraft Extreme reached its long-awaited denouement. The last two days of competition have left us with moments of great tension, as the show turned into a battle royale format where only one could remain. And who was that chosen one? Shadoune.

“The French streamer who speaks Spanish” -as he calls himself- was in charge of lifting the scepter of Minecraft Extreme. To do so, he had to face in the Grand Final of the game against another titan in this streaming broadcasting; in fact, he was the one who is at the top of the top: Ibai Llanos.

During the last 48 hours of the game, the streamers have faced each other by overcoming trials. However, this did not exempt some of them from stabbing each other in the back. In fact, this is what many of them did, such as Shadoune, who took advantage of the confusion of the tests to finish off their rivals. Ibai, on the other hand, did play legally until the final moment.

When the circle was almost closed, both players spoke publicly before all the spectators to see how they would resolve the final. And they did it in the simplest and easiest way possible: hitting each other, specifically with the axe they were carrying. Shadoune was the one who dealt the most blows to Ibai, who was only able to let go of one. The winner was clear.

Record data

As one can imagine, the final brought together millions of people on the different streamers’ channels. As soon as the figures of all the broadcasts were added up, the numbers left no room for doubt, although it was Ibai Llanos who took the big prize.

The Basque content creator achieved an impressive 2.5 million viewers in the cumulative, with a peak of almost 162,000 viewers (just at the moment where he was fighting with Shadoune). On the Frenchman’s side, the peak numbers were even higher, as he got in 193,000 viewers; however, in the cumulative, it was reduced to 1.3 million, which is also another huge number.
