The Mobile World Congress 2023, held these days in the city of Barcelona, is the stage where the most prestigious brands in the market are announcing dozens of new products related to the world of technology. An event in which we have been able to see from the latest mobile models from Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and Honor Magic, to the latest news related to Android, Chromebook and Wear OS, from Google.

Lenovo, a brand specialized in laptops, is another major technology company that has attended the Mobile World Congress, where it has announced the latest news related to its ThinkPad laptops, and has shown the prototype of what will be its future rollable laptop.

First, Lenovo showed the ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 and ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 4 models, the latest versions of this range of laptops aimed at travelers who usually work away from home. They include Dolby Audio speakers, which will offer more immersive sound, as well as a new 5-megapixel camera with infrared.

ThinkPad X13 Gen 4 will feature a new 13.3-inch, 2.8K OLED display that is Dolby Vision-enabled and features Eyesafe Certified Natural Low Blue Light technology, which will help reduce eye fatigue for those who spend a lot of time in front of the laptop. It will also include an ultrasonic detection system that will let the user know when there is someone nearby who may be watching.

Lenovo also introduced the new ThinkPad Z13 Gen 2 and ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2, both equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors and AMD Radeon 700M Series graphics cards. It will be configurable to have up to 64 GB of Dual Channel memory and up to 2 TB of PCIe SSD, so users will be able to perform all kinds of tasks at high speed.

Finally, Lenovo’s big surprise was the prototype of its upcoming laptop with a roll-up screen. With the push of a button, the screen grows from its chassis to double its size. A laptop concept of which nothing is yet known beyond the fact that it is designed for remote workers who want to increase the size of the screen at specific times.
