NVIDIA Announces RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti: Release Date, Power and Pricing

After more than 6 months with the RTX 4000 family in the PC Gaming market, we now have the entry gamer models. The RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti. The funny thing is that NVIDIA has decided to repeat the -malograda- move of the 4080.

Let’s take a look at all the models presented today, as there are three, and go over the power of these, where they would be placed on the market right now and the launch price.

RTX 4060 8 GB: release date, power and price

This is going to be the entry-level graphics card for the gaming world. The 8 GB RTX 4060 promises to be the GPU that will convince gamers who do not want to spend too much money on upgrading their computer.

In terms of power, they did not want to say much, but they do assure that the RTX 4060 will be between 15/20% more powerful than the current RTX 3060. Hence the main attraction is not its raw power, but its support for DLSS3 and better Raytracing.

The 8GB RTX 4060 will go on sale in July 2023 starting at €335.

RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB: release date, power and price

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is, on average, 2.6 times faster than the RTX 2060 SUPER and 1.7 times faster than the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. For titles without frame generation, the RTX 4060 Ti is 1.6 times faster than the RTX 2060 SUPER.

The two RTX 4060 Ti feature 32MB of L2 cache and either 8GB or 16GB of ultra-fast GDDR6 memory. L2 cache reduces the demand on the GPU memory interface, improving performance and power efficiency.

The 8GB RTX 4060 Ti will be released on May 24, 2023 and starts at €449.

RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB: release date, power and pricing

There is going to be no change in power here, as we saw with the 12GB and 16GB VRAM RTX 4080s. This time the 16 GB RTX 4060 Ti will be exactly the same as the 8 GB except for a larger amount of VRAM memory.

For this reason, in this section we can only say that the 16 GB RTX 4060 Ti will go on sale in July 2023 and that its price will start at €559.
