Alone in the Dark is the father of all survival horror and not without good reason. It is one of the great classics of horror games and although its modern iterations have had their ups and downs, it has never delivered a game that is less than interesting. That’s why the announcement that it’s getting a reboot, that it has a release date and, best of all, that we can try it out for free before its release, is something we can only celebrate.
