One of the most acclaimed horror directors of recent years, Ti West, is preparing to make the leap to series format with Bloodlust, a dark comedy that promises to consolidate his reputation within the genre. This new production, which will be distributed by Amazon Prime Video, also marks a new creative reunion between West and singer-actress Halsey, following their collaboration on MaXXXine, the third installment of the X trilogy.

Although the plot details of Bloodlust are kept under strict confidentiality, it is known that West will direct the series and participate as an executive producer. Halsey, who is not expected to appear in front of the cameras, will take on the roles of writer and executive producer, once again demonstrating her artistic versatility. Additionally, the project will have the support of Mark Friedman (Severance, Dispatches from Elsewhere), who will serve as showrunner.

A new leap in Ti West’s career

Ti West has managed to win the hearts of horror fans thanks to his ability to work with low budgets and create immersive stories that pay homage to genre classics.
