PlayStation unexpectedly announces all its PS5 releases for 2024: there are updates!

And there comes PlayStation to brighten up the beginning of the year. The Japanese company has released a video showcasing some of the games that will arrive in 2024.

Although most of the games were already known, the video revealed two surprises: Metal Gear Solid 3 and Silent Hill 2 will arrive on PlayStation in 2024. Apart from them, the other announced titles are Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, The Last of Us Part Two, Tekken 8, and many more.

The surprises of the video that brightened our night

The official remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 had been baptized as Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. Although there is still nothing on its official PlayStation page, IGN reports that it will be a faithful remake. Old dialogues will be reused and nothing new will be recorded.

In addition, it will not be exclusive to PlayStation, but will also be released on Xbox and PC. Undoubtedly, fans are excited about the announcement of a release window for this game.

Silent Hill 2 is a remake of the classic 2001 game. The description tells the story of how the protagonist, James Sunderland, receives a letter from his deceased wife. Desperate to find answers, he travels to Silent Hill to search for clues about the letter. With many monsters and a disturbing atmosphere, the game is presented as a horror video game.

Silent Hill 2 has not seen a release window until the publication of this video. In an article published by IGN, Bloober Team (the developers) plans to keep the same story and focus on the game’s atmosphere. Initially announced in 2022, Silent Hill fans won’t have to wait much longer for this release.
