Pokémon GO continues to be updated, but this time not with new raids or events, but with the real highlight: the premiere of Season 10, which is called Rising Heroes.

This new season is loaded with content, from events to special creatures. We tell you everything you need to know in Softonic.

When does Pokémon GO Rising Heroes start?

First and foremost: when Pokémon GO Rising Heroes Season 10 starts. It started today, March 1, so you just need to update your Android or iOS version to enjoy it.

The end date will be Thursday, June 1, 2023 (at 10:00 a.m. local time). Therefore, players have three months to enjoy all the new features.

First news

Gimmighoul and Gholdengo appear with season 10. “Professor Willow and Cinio from the Paldea region have discovered something: Trainers can meet Gimmighoul Andante Form and capture it in Pokémon GO!”, highlights the statement, which notes that it can evolve into Gholdengo.

“The key to encountering these mysterious Pokémon appears to be in the Coin Chest – Trainers can use this special item once a day to temporarily attract the wild Gimmighoul Walking Form!” they conclude.

On the other hand, we also have the XXS and XXL size Pokémon, which will be variants of another size. And yes, the elite raids are back, where we will be able to challenge the raid bosses Regieleki and Regidrago in order to capture these legendary Pokémon. There are two confirmed: the first, for March 11; the second, for April 9. All this will be complemented by the GO Combat League, which will feature the following cups: Fantasy Cup: Ultra Ball League Edition, the Color Cup: Super Ball League Edition, the Mountain Cup: Super Ball League Edition and the Spring Cup: Super Ball League.

Community and research achievements

At the moment, we know that the community days will be as follows: Saturday, March 18, Saturday, April 15, 2023, Saturday, April 29, 2023 and Sunday, May 21, 2023.

Likewise, completing the field research will unlock research achievement encounters with one of the following Pokémon: Parasect, Pinsir, Snorlax, Gible, Furfrou or Goomy.
