We all expected it for almost three years. When it was announced that the singer from Baix Llobregat Rosalia had started dating the Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, many began to speculate when they would collaborate together on a song. And finally they have done it with BESO, a hit in which they celebrate their love in style.
They already announced it with Ibai Llanos a few days ago, in an interview in which they also showed the tattoos they have together and explained how their relationship began. But finally the RR album has come to light, through the three songs that, as they announced, compose it: BESO, PROMESA and VAMPIROS.
A video clip recorded with a smartphone
In the interview with Ibai, the artists let slip that the three singles would have videoclips or, at least, some interesting visual support. But so far they have only released the video for BESO. Rosalía has posted it on her channel, and it is a complete celebration of the love and relationship between the two singers.
Far from the spectacularity of the usual videoclips of both singers -just take a look at any video of the album Motomami (Rosalía) or Saturno (Rauw Alejandro)-, in this one they have opted for the simplicity and the customary nature of the small moments.
In the video clip, completely recorded with smartphone, we see precious moments of both of them in their most precious corners. We can see them happy in their home in Manresa, with Rosalía jumping on the bed while Rauw sleeps, and then both naked laughing. Later we travel to Puerto Rico to continue enjoying their love in the singer’s native home. And then it’s all mixed with images of the two in Tokyo, the Caribbean, the United States and all kinds of places they’ve traveled to over the years of their relationship.
The video clip focuses on portraying the little moments that both live, from the beach to the snow through concerts and music video shoots. The song itself tells you the conclusion: “the best thing I have is the love you give me”. So, with no need for more spectacle than their own romance, the video seems perfect for what the song conveys.
But the most surprising and emotional of all is that, at the end of the video clip, they announce that they are getting married! In the final moments of BESO we see Rosalía showing the engagement ring, making it clear that there will be a wedding soon.
BESO is the obvious single of this little collaborative album between the two. But RR is much more, and PROMESA and VAMPIROS are not far behind either. While the first one is the bolero they promised with Ibai, in the other track they come out on top with a reggaeton hit that will surely be played in discos.
