How to search for elements in an individual conversation

Just as we would use an AirTag to locate objects, in this case, naturally, we can use the general search to locate what we need, but although it is a very useful function it can be somewhat slow when we have many conversations and, above all, when we know exactly in which conversation we want to search. In this case we have an alternative system, the steps we will follow are as follows:

  1. We open the Messages app on our iPhone or iPad.
  2. Enter a conversation.
  3. Tap the name of the contact at the top.
  4. Tap the “i” of information.
  5. Scroll to the bottom and tap View all next to Photos, Links or Attachments.
  6. Once we have found the item we are interested in, we press and hold it to display the options, such as save, copy, share, etc.

Note that in the View all photos section we can choose, at the top, between Photos and Captures for an even more detailed filter. Something that will allow us to overlook what we know we are not looking for.

Search among the photos and attachments that we have sent through the Messages app in a specific conversation is very simple. A system that allows us to quickly find what we are looking for in a particular conversation (in addition to doing a little cleaning on the iPhone) and have the elements classified and ready for use. So easy, the next time we want to locate a photo or a document in a conversation we can do it easily and efficiently with these steps.
