Fallout, the new series from Amazon Prime Video based on the popular video game saga from Bethesda, is sweeping. Both fans of the saga and those who have just discovered it thanks to the series starring Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten have fallen in love with the many virtues of a production that treats the Fallout universe with love and respect, to the point that many have made the leap to the video games.
And the first season of Fallout leaves you wanting to be the protagonist of an adventure through the Wasteland, wearing a shiny power armor while hunting radroaches and other mutant creatures. Is that your case and have you decided to start with Fallout 4, one of the most recent installments of the saga? Well, don’t forget to install these 3 impressive mods created by the community. Just remember to create backup copies of your saved games before installing them, just in case.
Legendary Modification
While traveling through the Wasteland, you will come across legendary enemies on more than one occasion. These are a special category of various enemies with a much longer health bar than their normal version, much more defense, and they deal more damage. Although these enemies will be a pain in the neck, defeating them will give you the opportunity to obtain legendary weapons: rare versions of weapons that include a modifier that gives them special characteristics.

The downside is that these special modifiers cannot be removed and placed on other weapons. But what if there was a “mod-o”? (Sorry). “Legendary Modification” is just the mod you need, with which you can remove legendary modifiers and apply them to any weapon. And if that wasn’t enough, you can also create legendary mods at workbenches, provided you have the necessary components. Undoubtedly, a legendary mod in every sense.
Companion Infinite Ammo
One of the most subtle, yet controversial changes in Fallout 4 was that companions would use up their ammunition. In both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, your companions never ever used their bullets, giving them infinite ammunition as long as they had at least 1 unit of ammunition in their backpack (both conventional and energy weapon ammunition). It must be said: it was quite good.

While in Fallout 4 we have to manage the ammunition we give to our companions, who can run out of ammunition in the middle of a battle, the mod “Companion Infinite Ammo” comes to the rescue. Thanks to this mod, you can explore the Wasteland again without fearing that your companions will run out of ammunition and leave you stranded against a fearsome enemy. Just remember to give them at least 1 unit of the ammunition that their weapons use.
STS – Scrap That Settlement!
Fallout 4 introduced settlements, places where you can build and manage houses, furniture, and much more. While it is a quite fun mechanic, especially for those who enjoy management games, building requires materials (a lot of them), and the best way to obtain materials is by scrapping useless things you find in the settlements. However, not everything you see can be scrapped, remaining in place forever.

Well, that’s how it is in the base game, but my favorite mod is here to save the day. “STS – Scrap That Settlement!” will allow you to scrap practically everything you see in a settlement, thus obtaining a lot of materials that you can then use to build new houses and utensils. However, keep in mind that some things (like roads or buildings) cannot be scrapped to avoid problems. Recycle everything you don’t like and give your settlements a makeover!
