The Office is a series that has marked a before and after in television, and despite reboots or new versions, there will be none like the American version starring Steve Carell. In this fiction, the protagonist shared an office with his beloved Jim, played by John Krasinski, who has now also become a director.
Under Krasinski’s direction, the two parts of A Quiet Place and The Hollars have already been released, and now he is preparing his new film: Imaginary Friends (IF). In this project, the filmmaker will return to comedy by telling the story of a young man who has the power to see and talk to the imaginary friends of the people around him.
Little by little, the protagonist will become friends with those who have been forgotten. However, unlike many, other invisible friends have become evil after being forgotten. As you can see, it is a family movie… but not just any movie. In it, Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and also Steve Carell will appear.
An amazing movie
In a behind-the-scenes video that has just been released, we can see Steve Carell and John Krasinski having a nice reunion on the movie set. The chemistry between them is palpable and it’s clear how much they care for each other, something we could already see in The Office and that, of course, transcends the screen.
“In If, Steve Carell plays Blue, and he is a beloved friend,” says Krasinski, 44, about his former colleague. “In fact, we worked together on this little movie thing for a long time,” adds the actor. Without a doubt, it is clear that they are a perfect match. While we wait to see what happens with the new version of The Office that is on its way, we can enjoy this film that will be released on May 17th in theaters.”
