The CinemaCon has been an incredible festival for movie fans, who have seen how the biggest box office hits of the year come to light with new trailers, special previews, and even announcements of such shocking developments as an adult movie about The Ninja Turtles.
Among all the news, Sonic 3 has been one of the most promoted movies. At CinemaCon, an exclusive trailer for the film was shown, and in it, Dr. Robotnik was seen with a new plan to defeat Sonic. That plan involves Shadow, the mysterious hedgehog hinted at in the post-credits scene of the second movie. Apparently, Robotnik uses Shadow as another weapon to oppose Sonic, with the premise that Shadow is even more powerful than Knuckles.

Although the look of Shadow is great and the movie has been described by its producer as “an Avengers-level event“, fans fear that the premise of Sonic 2 will be repeated, in which Robotnik uses Knuckles to defeat Sonic. This would make the plot a bit dull, repetitive, and boring, but the movie could end up surprising us.
